William Stonehocker, DVM
Dr. Stonehocker first became interested in veterinary medicine when growing up on a farm in the Northglenn area. He graduated from Colorado State University in 1984 and became a member of Community Pet Hospital in 1987. His focus is orthopedic surgery.
| | Wade Smith, DVM
Dr. Smith graduated from Colorado State University in 1990. Upon graduation, he went into practice with his father, Dr. Larry Smith, and Dr. Stonehocker. His areas of interest include dentistry and internal medicine.

Natalie Adams, DVM
Dr. Adams received her veterinary degree from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. After completing her internship at Michigan State University in 1996, she joined Community Pet Hospital the following year. Her areas of interest include ophthalmology, ultrasound and surgery. | | Christopher Schwarz, DVM
Dr. Schwarz received his DVM from Kansas State University in 2001. A northwest Kansas native, he happily moved to the Thornton area and joined Community Pet Hospital in 2004 after working for 3 years in a mixed-animal practice. Dr. Schwarz has a strong interest in internal medicine.

Jennifer Nash, DVM Dr. Nash graduated from the University of Florida in 2003. After practicing in a small animal hospital in Parker, she joined Community Pet Hospital in 2005. Her interest lies in internal medicine. | | Mary Jean Griffin, DVM
Dr. Griffin graduated from Cornell University in 1994. A western New York native, she practiced mixed and small animal medicine in North Carolina for twelve years before moving back to the snow (and mountains) in Colorado. She joined Community Pet Hospital in 2006 and has a strong interest in internal medicine

Our Patient Care Team
Our well-trained technicians are an integral part of the services that we provide. Our Patient Care Team has a wealth of knowledge between them. They provide the initial examinations for every patient and they make it a priority to ensure that each pet has a pleasant experience at our facility. They use positive reinforcement and gentle restraining techniques to minimize stress and anxiety for our patients. Our technicians get to know you and your pets as well as our doctors do. |

As the first people you talk with and meet at Community Pet Hospital, our Client Care Team is vital to our hospital. Each makes client service a priority, whether it’s answering questions, scheduling appointments, responding to billing questions, providing grief counseling, or helping with our puppy training classes. |
